A nineteenth century, pottery child’s mug with a green transfer printed design. This is decorated with “THE HISTORY OF THE HOUSE THAT JACK BUILT”. To either side are prints showing Jack, one building his house and one sifting the malt. It dates from c.1860 and it is in excellent condition.
