A charming, early 19th century child’s nursery plate. This is colourfully enamelled with flowers on a pearlware body. The border is moulded with flowers and birds which are highlighted with the same coloured enamels. It is English and it dates from c.1820.
There is slight wear to some of the green enamels on the central leaves but otherwise it is in very good condition.
