A fantastic doll’s house dating from the 1930’s. Named “MAY COTTAGE” this house has been played with for nearly a century and has survived in remarkably good condition. The back, and the roof, open, to reveal the delightful interior with original wallpaper. There are curtains, a colourful blind, various items of kitchen equipment, and even a tiny carpet and clothes rail. At some time it has been wired for electricity so, with the use of transformer, you could light up the bedroom light and the chandelier downstairs. The front door has a mock, stained glass panel and the end wall is plastered with advertising signs. It even comes complete with two black cats.
One of the fence panels has a little damage and a piece has been broken off one of the ridge tiles. This can be seen in the images.
Other than this it is in good condition with general wear and tear as you would expect.
