19th Century, Steel Herb Chopper

A nineteenth century, steel herb or vegetable chopper with a brass handle. This is English and it dates from c.1870. The steel blade is nicely shaped and it has a tubular brass handle. There is slight marking to the brass, and pitting to the steel, both from use. Otherwise it is in very good condition and it is still very sharp.

Dimensions: Length 15.5cm. Width 12.8cm. Diameter of handle 1.7cm.
