A late 19th century, steel herb or vegetable chopper. This has a nicely shaped blade which makes it both decorative and also practical. This is set into a fibre block handle by means of copper rivets. It is probably French and dates from c.1890. It is in very good condition with just slight pitting to the blade from use.
