An early 20th century, steel, ice or sugar cleaver in the shape of a fox. This cleaver has a wooden handle which is attached by small brass rivets. The blade, which is quite primitive in shape, has been chromed and the fox has a small copper rivet as an eye. It dates from c.1930. There is very slight scratching to the steel, from use, but other than that it is in very good condition.
