A 19th century bread knife with a carved wooden handle. The blade is engraved “Bread Knife” in an ornate script within a scrolling cartouche. It dates from c.1890. The sycamore handle is carved with wheat and flowers and the reverse has chip carved lines. It is good condition, but there is some staining to the handle.
Dimensions: Length 31cm. Width of blade 3cm. Diameter of handle 2.5cm.
