A nice quality, 18th century Dutch Delft plate. This dates from c.1760. It is decorated with a geometric design in shades of blue, iron red and green. The decoration is quite subtle and the design is very attractive. There is minor wear to the glaze on the rim, which is quite normal with Delft due to the soft nature of the glaze, and there are two rim chips. This can all be seen in the images. There is also a very feint glaze crack to the reverse of the plate but this does not go through to the face.
Dimensions: Diameter 22cm. Depth 3cm.
