A lovely quality, 18th century, blue and white, Dutch Delft plate. This is a very attractive shape with the scalloped rim and it dates from c.1760. There is a potters mark in the shape of an axe to the reverse. The central design is a naive depiction of a fence and flowers and there are further flowers and foliage to the rim. There is minor wear to the glaze, on the rim, but otherwise it is in excellent condition.
Dimensions: Diameter 22.6cm. Depth 3cm.
