A very boldly decorated, polychrome Dutch Delft plate. This dates from c.1780. It is naively decorated with a rocks in a pond with a bridge in the background and flowers and trees to the sides. This is all in shades of blue, green, manganese, ochre and orange. The orange makes it particularly vibrant. There is minor wear to the rim, and three small glaze chips, which is quite normal with Delft due to the soft nature of the glaze. This can be seen in the images. Otherwise it is in very good condition.
