A very attractive, blue transfer printed tile mounted in a mock bamboo surround, as a teapot stand. This is French and it dates from c.1880. The transfer print is very detailed, showing two sheep in a rural landscape. The piece is in excellent condition, with just a little wear to the wooden surround.
