A 19th century, creamware salmon plate. This piece is marked 'SARREGUEMINESS' and it is also impressed with a number '3'. Sarregueminess is a French company which started producing Faience in 1790 and this plate dates from c.1840. It is perfectly plain in form and it is well potted, with the potting being quite light for the period. The shape is very elegant and the piece is in excellent condition.
