An early 19th century copper ale jug. This is an interesting shaped jug, of flared form, with a large, hollow, loop handle. It is well made, from a heavy gauge of copper and it has a castellated seam. It dates from c.1830. 

Dimensions: Width 24.5cm. Diameter 15.7cm Height 20.2cm. 

English copper. Date c.1830.

Condition: Excellent condition but the tinning is worn.
