An interesting, Art Deco, copper coffee pot with a bakelite handle. There are a couple of makers marks to the base, which consist of a triangular stamp and a further stamp in the shape of a flower, but these are quite worn and difficult to make out. The pot is a fabulous shape, with a typical Art Deco design to the sides, an angular, Bakelite handle with brass fittings, and a brass finial to the lid. The copper has a planished finish, which became very popular during the Art Deco period. It dates from c.1930 and is very good condition although the tinning to the interior is worn so it couldn’t be used.
