A small, Victorian copper jug with a side handle. This piece is marked, to the base, with the orb and cross symbol used by Benhams and it dates from c.1860. It is made from a heavy gauge of copper and it has a castellated seam up the side. It is unusual in that the handle is made from bronze. This is a well made, good quality piece. It has a couple of dents around the base but other than that it is in very good condition. The tinning, to the interior, is worn.
