A decorative, 19th century, copper milk churn. This is made from a very heavy gauge of copper and it dates from c.1890. It has steel banding to the base, a folding steel handle and a brass rim. It no longer has a lid, and the tinning to the interior us worn, so it could not be used for its’ original purpose. However, it does hold water so it could look fabulous used for a large flower display. There is slight denting, consistent with age and use, but otherwise it is in good condition.
Dimensions: Height 36.4cm. Diameter 31.5cm.
