A 19th century, French copper salmon kettle. This would, originally, have had a lid and a drainer but these are no longer with it. This shape of pan is decorative and works very well as a jardiniere on a windowsill. It is made from a heavy gauge of copper and it dates from c.1880. It has castellated seams and there are nicely shaped brass handles to either end. It is in very good condition.
