A small, late nineteenth century, English copper ale muller. This is made from a heavy gauge of copper and it has rolled seams. It dates from c.1890. It was used for warming ale or wine over an open fire. The handle is made in an unusual way in that the edges of it are wired and the wires are then used to attach the handle to the rim of the muller. It is in very good condition.
