A lovely quality, 19th century, French copper jardiniere. This large, oval form jardiniere is nicely shaped and has brass, lion’s head fittings to either end supporting folding ring handles. It is well made, with a wide castellated seam, and it dates from c.1860. It is in excellent condition but the interior is worn, as would be expected, from use.
