A long handled, French copper scoop. This is marked ‘LETANG FILS PARIS 108 R.VIELLE DU TEMPLE’ and it dates from c1880. It is well made, from a very heavy gauge of copper, and the copper has a slightly planished finish. The handle is turned from a light oak. This would possibly have been used for scooping grain or flour. It is in excellent condition.
