A large, 19th century, copper frying pan with a steel handle. This is made from a very heavy gauge of copper and it dates from c.1840. Originally it would have been tinned inside but over the years this has virtually gone so it has now been polished inside. It would also have had a long, wooden handle but this is now missing so it has been replaced with a small brass ring so that it can hang as it is for decorative purpose only.
The pan measures 32cm. long by 24.8cm wide by 5cm. deep and the overall length of the pan and handle is 49.5cm.
It is in good condition.
