A large, late nineteenth century, baluster shaped, copper cider measure. This is well made, from a heavy gauge of copper, and the copper has a planished finish top and bottom with a smoother finish to the centre. It is French and it dates from c.1890. It is in excellent condition but the interior is now quite worn so you would no longer want to fill it with cider. It would, however, make a superb container for a large, floral arrangement.
Dimensions: Height 48cm. Diameter 28cm. Width 36cm.
