Large French Copper Water Carrier

A large, French copper water carrier. This would have been used in the house for carrying hot water to the bath tub. It is a very unusual shape with a hollow handle to the top and a flat strap handle to the side. It is made from quite a heavy gauge of copper, has castellated seams and a rolled foot rim. The interior is worn and there is slight denting from use but otherwise it is in good condition. Now it would make a beautiful container for a large, floral display.
