A nineteenth century, miniature copper cooking dish. This is a very unusual shape to find in miniature. It would have been made as a toy for a child and it dates from c.1880. It is made from quite a heavy gauge of copper for its’ size and the side is stamped with a letter “C”. The legs and handles are made from brass. Originally there were handles to either side but one of these has been broken. Otherwise it is in good condition.
Dimensions: Diameter 11.5cm. Height 4.6cm.
