A super, early 19th century, pear shaped copper ale jug. This is made from a heavy gauge of copper and it dates from c.1830. It has castellated seams and a tubular handle with a heart shaped fitting. It is in very good condition, but the tinning, to the interior, is worn so it could not be used.
