A small, French, copper and brass watering can. This is made from quite a substantial gauge of copper and it dates from c.1920. The body of the watering can is copper and it has a brass band around the base, to give extra strength, and a detachable brass rose. It is a good size for use around the house or in a conservatory and it is a lovely decorative piece. There are signs of solder around the spout but this is not necessarily a repair as they were often made in this fashion, and it does still hold water so it could be used. Generally it is in good condition.
