A small, French copper jug. Originating from Northern France, this type of jug was actually a measure, used for cider, and they come in various sizes. This is made from a heavy gauge of copper and it dates from c.1890. The copper has a planished finish on the body of the jug and a smooth finish to the handle. It is in excellent condition.
