A small sized, 19th century, French copper salmon kettle. This no longer has its cover or drainer so it is now for decorative purposes only and would make a perfect jardiniere, on a kitchen windowsill, for small pots of herbs. It is well made, from a heavy gauge of copper, has castellated seams around the base and up the side. There are brass handles to either end and it dates from c.1860. There is slight marking and pitting to the copper, from use, but otherwise it is in good condition.
Dimensions: Length of pan 47.7cm. Overall length including the handles 56.7cm. Height of pan 9.5cm. Overall height including the handles 12cm. Width 13cm.
