A small, French copper watering can. This is made from quite a heavy gauge of copper and it dates from the first half of the 20th century, c.1930. It is an ideal size for use with houseplants, rather than as a garden watering can, and the long, narrow spout makes it easy to direct the water accurately. There is a small amount of solder around the spout but this is possibly from the manufacture. The piece is a nice shape and it is in very good, usable condition.
