Unusual Copper Chocolate Warmer

Unusual Copper Chocolate Warmer

Code: H20740

SOLD

A most unusual, copper chocolate warmer. This is English and it dates from c.1910. It is double walled, water is poured through the spout into the outer section and the chocolate would be made, or put, into the central section. This would then be placed on the stove and would act like a double boiler or bain marie, to keep the chocolate warm. It has folded seams, brass fittings and a turned wooden handle. There are numerous dents in the outer section and the handle has been pushed in slightly. The tinning, to the interior, is still in quite good condition.

Dimensions: Height 29.5cm. Width 32cm. Diameter 19cm.
