A good quality, Victorian copper chocolate, or coffee pot. This is made from quite a heavy gauge of copper, has a castellated seam up the side and a rolled seam around the base. The handle is turned from mahogany and has a good colour and patination. This is attached to the body of the post by and attractive, heart shaped fitting. To the lid is an acorn shaped, brass finial. 

English. Date c.1860.

It is in very good condition but the tinning, to the interior, is worn.
