A Victorian copper, squat shaped, saucepan and cover. This piece is English and it dates from c.1860. It has castellated seams around the base and up the side, and the steel handle is hollow. This allows the heat to disperse quicker when the pan is in use, so it is slightly easier to handle. The pan measures 17.5cm. high to the top of the handle on the lid, by 18cm. diameter at its' widest point. The total width, including the steel handle, is 34cm., and the total height, including the steel handle, is 28cm. It is in good condition, with just very minor denting, from use, and pitting to the base. The tinning, to the interior, is worn so it could no longer be used.
