3 Meat or Fish Skewers

A set of three silver plated hatelet skewers. The designs on the ends of these skewers have hanging game on one side and hanging fish on the other, so these would have been used for ornamenting the meat or fish course rather than desserts. They date from c.1880. Although the designs are the same the skewers are all slightly different lengths, ranging from 22.9cm. (9") to 24cm. (9 1/2") long.  These are good quality examples and they are all in very good condition.
