A set of four, small, French silver hatelet skewers. The decorative ends of each of these are shaped as swords. They all have French silver hallmarks, but these are quite difficult to make out. Going by the style and quality of the skewers I would expect them to date from c.1860. They are well worked and nicely detailed.
They are all in excellent condition.
