19th Century Cake Mould

A good quality, 19th century, copper cake mould. This is probably German or French and it dates from c.1870. It is a good example, being well made, from a heavy gauge of copper, and there is a castellated seam between the sides and the top section. There is good detail to the design which has angular sides and overlapping circles to the top with a central indentation. A small, steel loop is attached to the side for hanging. There are a few very tiny dents to the copper but otherwise it is in good condition. There is slight wear to the tinning but it is still in good enough condition to be used.
