A two part copper nougat or ice mould in the shape of a cornucopia. One side is marked “TROTTIER PARIS FNT”. It is French and dates from c.1870. It is well made, from quite a heavy gauge of copper, and the two parts have small, shaped indentations which help them to fit together neatly. There is considerable pitting to the copper, from use, and the tinning to the interior is worn. It still has its’ original steel clips to hold it together and a small steel fitting has been attached to each piece so that it will hang.
