A very attractive, 19th century, French copper mould. This has a fancy, spiralling design to the top, with wrythen fluted sides, and this displays particularly well when hanging. The mould is made from a substantial gauge of copper and it dates from c.1890. It is in very good condition but the tinning, to the interior, is worn. There is a small hole in the side and this is probably from where a loop fitting, for hanging, has been removed.
Dimensions: Diameter 12.6cm. Height 9cm.
