Benham's Copper Pumpkin Mould

Benham's Copper Pumpkin Mould

Code: H20692

SOLD

A nineteenth century, copper mould in the shape of half a pumpkin. This is marked with the orb and cross symbol used by Benhams. To the opposite side is a workman’s mark in the shape of a radiating sun. Although this form is relatively simple it is pleasing and it would turn out well. It is made from quite a substantial gauge of copper and it dates from c. 1880. It is in excellent condition and the tinning, although slightly worn, is still good enough for the mould to be used.

Dimensions: Height 8cm. Diameter 14.7cm.
