An unusual, Victorian copper mould in the shape of six eggs in a nest. This mould is stamped with the orb and cross symbol used by Benham’s and to the opposite side is a workman’s mark in the shape of a cross. It is well made, from a heavy gauge of copper and it dates from c.1870. It is in excellent condition, although the tinning is worn, so it could not be used.
