A Victorian copper, fancy border, ring mould. This is stamped with the orb and cross symbol used by Benhams and under this is the pattern number ’524’. To the opposite side is a workman’s mark in the shape of a heart. It is made from a heavy gauge of copper and it dates from c.1880.
It is in very good condition. There is a small dent on the side of one of the arches and the tinning is worn and slightly flakey.
