A super quality, Victorian copper mould with a pineapple to the top. This is stamped with the orb and cross symbol used by Benhams and under this is the number ’1’. To the opposite side is a workman’s mark in the shape of a heart. It is made from a heavy gauge of copper and it dates from c.1870. The moulding to the pineapple is very deep and well detailed.
It is in excellent condition. The tinning is slightly worn but it could still be used.
