Code: J22699
A good quality, 19th century, English copper mould. This is marked with the orb and cross symbol used by Benhams’s above the pattern number “50”. To the opposite end is a workman’s mark in the shape of a cross within a square. The mould is well made, from a heavy agued of copper, and it dates from c.1870. The design is very attractive, with eight scalloped columns with small dome tops which create a sort of starburst effect on the top. It is in excellent condition but the tinning, to the interior, is worn.
