A Victorian copper mould made by Benhams and dating from c.1890. This mould is fairly simple in form with ten fluted columns. It is stamped with the orb and cross symbol used by Benhams above the pattern number '501'. To the opposite side is a workman's mark in the shape of a radiating sun. It is made from quite a heavy gauge of copper and is in very good condition. There is just one small mark to the copper on one of the columns. The interior is worn so it could not be used.
