A good quality, 19th century, French copper mould in the shape of a cog. This is stamped with the number ’11’ which could be a pattern number. The design is one which displays particularly well when hanging. The mould is made from a heavy gauge of copper, which has a planished finish, and it dates from c.1870.
It is in excellent condition and but the tinning, to the interior, is slightly worn and flakey.
Dimensions: Diameter 11.8cm. Height 8.6cm.
