A 19th century, copper, ice cream bombe mould. This is made from a substantial gauge of copper and it dates from c. 1880. It has a copper ring handle to the lid and a removable brass foot. This is unscrewed to help to release the ice cream from the mould. The interior is in good, clean, usable condition but there is marking to the copper on the rim of the lid and the sides of the mould.
