A nineteenth century, French copper mould in the shape of a melon. This piece is quite light in weight but it is a good, decorative shape. It has a brass loop, so that it can hang, and it dates from c.1890. It is in good condition, although the tinning to the interior is flaking, so it could not be used, and there is a little rust around the rivets.
