A nice quality, 19th century, French copper mould. This is made from a substantial gauge of copper and it dates from c.1880. The design has two rows of stylised leaves, beneath ten small domes, around a central pipe. There is a small, steel hanging loop attached to the side and just beneath this it is stamped 'VIOSSAT', which would have been the name of a previous owner. There are very tiny dents to a few of the high points of the mould but other than that it is in very good condition. The tinning, to the interior, is worn.
