A good quality, 19th century, copper mould. This is French, it dates from c.1880 and it is made from a substantial gauge of copper. It has a stylised flower design to the top and this is surrounded by eighteen sponge fingers to the sides. This design looks particularly good when hanging.
The mould is in excellent condition but the tinning, to the interior, is worn and flakey so it could not be used without first being re-tinned.
Dimensions: Diameter 16.6cm. Height 9.7cm.
