A Victorian copper, fancy border, ring mould. This is nicely engraved with the initials of a previous owner “D.A.S”, and it is also stamped with the pattern number “160” but there are no manufacturers marks. It is English, made from a substantial gauge of copper, and dates from c.1890. The design consists of ten dome topped, spiral columns and this design displays well whether hanging or on a shelf. There is very minor denting to the mould but the tinning, to the interior, is still in good, usable condition and the shape would turn out very well.
