A nice quality, 19th century copper mould. This is stamped with a pattern number ’17’ and it is made from a very heavy gauge of copper. It is probably French and it dates from c.1870. The design consists of a rope twist top above sponge fingers to the sides. This design displays equally well whether hanging or on a shelf. There is a small copper loop attached so that it can hang if required. It is in very good condition, with just some very minor pitting to the copper from use. The interior is worn.
